Major Water-Main Failure in Prionas
A major failure in a central water main in the Prionas area has forced an interruption to the water supply across the wider Pothia area.
According to an announcement by the Municipal Water Supply and Sewerage Company of Kalymnos (DEYAK), repair work may continue throughout the night.
Residents are advised to make the necessary arrangements and secure enough water to meet their essential needs until the supply is restored.
DEYAK has asked for the public’s understanding during the temporary disruption, stressing that crews are making every possible effort to complete the repairs and restore normal water service as quickly as possible.
