An informative event titled “Internet & Child” was successfully held on Monday, May 25, 2026, at 18:00, organized by the Parents and Guardians Association of the 3rd Primary School of Kalymnos. The event was open to parents, educators, and the wider public.
Speakers included psychologist Eleni Giannouli and social worker Chrysa Panaki, who shared their professional knowledge and experience on children’s internet use, focusing on risks and potential impacts.
Key topics discussed included excessive screen time, mobile and gaming addiction among children, and emerging challenges linked to Artificial Intelligence and the digital environment.
The speakers emphasized the importance of setting boundaries and maintaining daily routines, noting that children need structure, communication with parents, and a balance between responsibilities and leisure.
