Due to the absence of the Opposition, the following agenda items were withdrawn and will be rescheduled for a future Municipal Council meeting:
- Selection of the Citizen and Business Ombudsman for the Municipality of Kalymnos
- Decision on the installation of a bust of Georgios Koukoulis in the courtyard of the 2nd General High School of Kalymnos
- Formation of the Gender Equality Municipal Committee of the Municipality of Kalymnos
The following items were unanimously approved by the Majority:
- Consideration of a request from a municipal councilor for a three-month leave of absence -The councilor requesting the leave due to a serious personal issue is former Mayor Dimitris Diakomichalis.
- Approval of the 2nd revision of the budget and technical program for the Municipality of Kalymnos for the fiscal year 2024
3. Approval of the marking of exclusive parking spaces for disabled individuals following the recommendation of the Municipal Committee in the following areas: Agios Vasilis, Ag. Charalambos, Special Primary School, AEN Parking, and Evangelistria
4. Participation of the Municipality of Kalymnos in the European Grouping of Territorial Cooperation (EGTC) under the name “EGTC Euxine City” and appointment of representatives
The appointed representatives are Mayor I. Mastrokoukos and Deputy Mayor Vasilis Mousellis.
5. Free allocation of the use of the municipal ironworks to the Municipal Water Supply and Sewerage Company of Kalymnos
6. Acceptance of the resignation of an alternate member of the Unified School Committee of Primary Education
7. Formation of the Works Acceptance Committee (members: Sevasti Kokkinou, Stella Kama, Spyros Choulis, Nikolas Kampouris):
- “Repair and Maintenance of the Municipal Building (KAPI)”
- “Replacement of Frames at the 3rd Junior High School of Chora Kalymnos”
