An event dedicated to the Feast of the Three Holy Hierarchs was held by the Kalymnos Reading Society “Ai Mousai” on Friday, 30 January 2026, at 7:00 p.m., on the ground floor of the Cultural Center.
The keynote speaker was theologian Mrs. Kalliopi Skoutelli, who presented the topic: “The Wisdom of the Three Holy Hierarchs – An Eternal Legacy.”
The event took place as part of the celebratory activities honoring the patrons of Letters and Education and was open to the public. The Board of the Reading Society invited citizens to attend, paying tribute to the memory and timeless spiritual heritage of the Three Holy Hierarchs.
Those present included the Deputy Mayor for Finance, Mr. Giannis Theofilidis; the President of the Municipal Council and President of ANEK, Mr. Dimitris Marangos; from the main opposition, the head of the municipal group “New Kalymnos,” Mr. Ioannis Galouzis, and municipal councilor Mr. Mikes Rigas; the representative of the Holy Metropolis of Leros, Kalymnos and Astypalaia, Protopresbyter Amphilohios Sakalleros; and the representative of the Armed Forces, Captain Ms. Lydia Angelaki.
