On 29 November 2025, the holiday season on our island kicked off with the Christmas Dance Recital of the Folklore and Traditional Dance Association of Kalymnos “Chorogenesis.” We filmed part of the event featuring the association’s youngest dancers, who truly impressed with their performances of the traditional Kalymnian dances Isso and Sousta. Dance instruction is provided by Maria Troumouliari, a physical education teacher specializing in traditional dances, along with Efrosyni Troumouliari.
