When Christmas Becomes an Act of Love – Successful Completion of the Charity Drive for Inmates of Kos Prison
On the initiative of the District Vice Governor of Kalymnos and in cooperation with the Union of Former Scouts of Kalymnos, a Christmas charity drive was organized to collect personal hygiene items and clothing in support of inmates at the Kos Detention Center.
The mission was successfully completed, with the donated items delivered to people who truly need them, conveying a strong message of humanity, solidarity, and social care.
This initiative serves as a reminder that Christmas is not only about lights and wishes, but about presence, compassion, and sharing.
