I learned with deep sorrow of the sudden and untimely passing of the esteemed President of the Court of Appeal of the Dodecanese, Christodoulos Kyrtsidis, a man who served justice in Rhodes and the Dodecanese with consistency, integrity, and impartial dedication.
Beyond his high judicial office, the late Christodoulos Kyrtsidis was a strong supporter and advocate of the restoration and upgrading of the historic Rhodes Courthouse, highlighting the need for maintenance, safety, and dignified infrastructure worthy of the prestige of the institutions and the quality of services provided to the judicial community and the public. His loss leaves a significant void in the legal and judicial community, while his integrity and steadfast commitment to duty served as an example to colleagues and associates alike.
I extend my sincere condolences to his family, his colleagues, and all those who worked with him.
May his memory be eternal.
