The engineering community of Kalymnos and the wider Dodecanese has been deeply saddened by the death of architect Anna Kalikatzarou-Tyraki.
The Executive Committee of the Dodecanese Regional Department of the Technical Chamber of Greece and the Chamber’s Permanent Committee on Kalymnos convened an extraordinary meeting and issued a joint resolution in memory of their esteemed and beloved colleague.
In a unanimous decision, the two committees extended their sincere condolences, on behalf of engineers throughout the Dodecanese, to the deceased’s family.
They also resolved that representatives of the Technical Chamber’s Permanent Committee on Kalymnos would attend the funeral service and that the resolution would be published in the local daily press.
Dated August 9, 2026, the resolution is signed by Sakellarios Tsikouris, president of the Permanent Committee on Kalymnos; Maria Papandreou, president of the Executive Committee of the Dodecanese Regional Department; and Paraskevi Moraitou, president of the Department’s Representative Assembly.
