EL.A.S. is developing an extensive nationwide network of Coordinating Committees, organised by region and prefecture. The relevant list includes committees from Evros in northern Greece to Crete and from the Ionian Islands to the South Aegean, with the Dodecanese standing out for its particularly broad representation.
The committees are distributed across Greece’s 13 administrative regions and cover dozens of geographical areas. In several committees, a Platform Coordinator has also been designated.
The 19-member Dodecanese Coordinating Committee
Two committees are included in the South Aegean Region: one for the Dodecanese and one for the Cyclades.
The Dodecanese Coordinating Committee is one of the largest in the nationwide network, comprising 19 members. Giota Giannakopoulou has been designated Platform Coordinator.

The committee’s broad membership reflects the distinctive geography of the Dodecanese—an extensive island group characterised by long distances, differing local needs and increased coordination requirements.
The South Aegean network also includes the Cyclades Coordinating Committee. Its members are Filia Grigoraskou, Giorgos Iliou, Vasilis Theonas, Erotokritos Kaidatzis, Stefanos Lagouros, Stelios Marinakis – Platform Coordinator, Dina Sykoutri and Dimitris Toulis.
