The Kalymnos Reading Society “Ai Mousai” is organizing a commemorative event dedicated to the anniversary of the Union of the Dodecanese with Greece.
The event will take place on Saturday, March 7 at 7:00 p.m., at the ground floor of the Society’s Cultural Center.
The keynote speaker will be Dr. Theofanis Malkidis, PhD of Panteion University, who will present a lecture titled:
“The Dodecanese from Occupation to Union: The Long Journey to Freedom.”
The event marks the historic anniversary of March 7, 1948, when the Dodecanese islands were officially united with Greece. It is also celebrated as a special day for the Kalymnos Reading Society.
The Board of Directors invites the public to attend and honor this important historical anniversary.
