Firefighting and fire safety lessons were delivered at Panormos Kindergarten by the Fire Department yesterday 30/5/2025, following an invitation from the school’s teaching staff. The initiative was part of the Skills Workshop titled “The Forest: A Source of Life”, aiming to raise awareness among young children about the importance of forest protection and fire prevention.
During the visit, the children learned basic fire safety rules, explored firefighting equipment up close, and participated in interactive and experiential activities that helped them understand how to protect themselves and the environment in case of fire. The visit combined education with action, planting the seeds of environmental responsibility from an early age.
