Maria secured first place at today’s Indoor Athletics Meeting held in Paiania, recording a throw of 15.94 and achieving a new personal best for 2026.
The athlete demonstrated consistency and steady improvement throughout the competition, confirming her upward progression from event to event. Her series of throws was: 15.55, 15.94, foul, 15.32, 15.67, and 15.39.
According to information from her coaching team, the third attempt, which was ruled a foul, appeared to be even longer in distance.
This performance strengthens expectations ahead of upcoming international competitions, with the Balkan Championships set as the next major target.
