Major Three-Day Health Initiative
Residents of Kalymnos will have the opportunity to receive free preventive cardiology screenings and expert medical advice during a three-day healthcare event taking place from June 12 to June 14, 2026.
The initiative will begin on Friday, June 12, at the Kalymnos Cultural Center, where leading physicians from Hippokratio General Hospital of Athens will deliver a series of public health lectures between 6:00 p.m. and 8:30 p.m.
Topics will include vaccinations, breast cancer awareness, coronary artery disease, and supraventricular tachycardias, offering valuable information on prevention, early diagnosis, and treatment options.
Free medical screenings will be conducted at Vouváleio General Hospital – Health Center of Kalymnos on Saturday, June 13 (08:00–20:00) and Sunday, June 14 (08:00–14:00).

Organizers say the initiative aims to promote cardiovascular health awareness and encourage preventive healthcare practices among island residents, highlighting the importance of early detection and regular medical check-ups.
