During a working meeting with the administration and staff of Rhodes General Hospital, MP Ioannis Pappas announced key measures to strengthen healthcare services.
The Mammography Department resumes operation after one year of inactivity, with a radiologist hired under a service contract, restoring a critical diagnostic service for women on the island. Additionally, to address increased demand in the Emergency Department, a doctor from “Attikon” Hospital will be temporarily assigned for two months.
The recruitment process for two Radiology Technologists is also underway to further enhance the hospital’s diagnostic capacity. These actions aim to improve the hospital’s overall operation and the quality of healthcare provided to both residents and visitors of Rhodes.
