Dodecanese MP Giannis Pappas held a working meeting at the Ministry of Justice with Minister Giorgos Floridis and Deputy Minister Ioannis Bougas, focusing on key issues affecting the Dodecanese region.
During the meeting, discussions centered on the progress of the new Judicial Building in Kos, a project considered crucial for improving the administration of justice and the operation of judicial services on the island.
The reconstruction of the Judicial Building in Rhodes was also addressed, with Mr. Pappas emphasizing the need to accelerate procedures in order to move forward promptly with this vital project for Rhodes and the wider region.
Additionally, legislative initiatives by the Ministry concerning pending land registry (cadastre) cases before system transition were discussed, an issue that significantly affects local citizens and professionals.
Mr. Pappas invited the Minister of Justice to visit Rhodes as soon as possible, aiming to facilitate on-site cooperation and advance the necessary procedures.
In a statement, he stressed that strengthening judicial infrastructure in the islands remains a priority, highlighting the need for modern and functional facilities for both citizens and judicial officials.
