Honey varieties and flavours from across Greece will come together at the Peristeri Exhibition Centre on December 4–6, 2026, for the 17th Greek Honey & Bee Products Festival.
According to the organisers, more than 300 producers will showcase distinctive and rare Greek honeys, hive products and honey-based foods. Visitors will be able to sample and purchase products directly from producers while meeting the people behind them.
The festival is held under the auspices of the Ministry of Rural Development and Food and the Athens Chamber of Commerce and Industry. It aims to promote branded Greek honey to consumers and the food service sector, while creating opportunities for commercial partnerships. It also gives small-scale beekeepers a valuable opportunity to connect directly with customers.
Sustainability and quality in focus
Alongside the exhibition, the 17th Greek Honey & Bee Products Conference will address “Beekeeping and Sustainability,” with contributions from industry organisations and scientists.
The programme also includes the 6th High Quality Honey Contest, organised in cooperation with the Beekeeping Laboratory of Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. The competition aims to highlight outstanding honeys and introduce consumers and trade professionals to the distinctive qualities of Greek production.
A dedicated beekeeping equipment section will feature Greek companies and businesses from France, Italy, Hungary, Turkey and Egypt. Exhibits will include machinery, hives, beekeeping supplies and new technologies for both professional and amateur beekeepers.
The Peristeri Exhibition Centre is approximately 100 metres from Anthoupoli Metro station and offers free parking.
