85 Migrants Detected in Chali, Kalymnos by the Hellenic Coast Guard
On October 30, 2025, 85 irregular migrants were detected in the Chali area of Kalymnos by members of the Hellenic Coast Guard.
The migrants were found gathered in an open area of the Port Authority building, where Coast Guard officers launched an operation to secure, register, and control the group in accordance with immigration regulations.
Security perimeters were set up around the area, and authorities proceeded with identification and temporary holding of the individuals, pending further investigation and action under Greek migration law.
