KALYMNOS MIDDLE SCHOOLS CHAMPIONSHIP 2025 – OUTSTANDING PERFORMANCES IN TRACK EVENTS
The Kalymnos Middle Schools Championship 2025 took place with impressive performances and strong participation, as students gave their best in the track events.
1000m Event – Triumph for the 1st Middle School
In the 1000-meter race, Maria Toliou from the 1st Middle School of Kalymnos and athlete of the local sports club, won the gold medal and the title of Kalymnos Middle School Champion 2025!
The silver medal went to Anna Petraki from the 3rd Middle School, while Maria-Savvina Mamouzelou, also from the 3rd Middle School, claimed the bronze medal.
150m Event – New Personal Best and Victory for Skylla Vangelitsa
In the 150-meter race, Skylla Vangelitsa from the 1st Middle School, also an athlete of the local club, took the gold medal with an impressive time of 20.95 seconds, setting a new personal record!
The silver medal was awarded to Savina Papathoma from the 2nd Middle School with a time of 24.53 seconds, while the bronze medal went to Foteini Pizania from the 1st Middle School, with a time of 27.87 seconds.

Kalymnos youth once again proved their rich athletic talent and discipline, showing that the island’s track and field future is very promising.
