Kalymnos Municipal Council Approves Lawyer’s Fee in Legal Case Against Proteas Swimming Club
During its meeting on May 8, 2026, the Municipal Council of Kalymnos approved, by majority vote, a lawyer’s fee of €1,200 in connection with a legal case filed by the Municipality against the Proteas Swimming Club.
The approved fee concerns lawyer Mike Trikoili, who will represent the Municipality in the case.
According to discussions during the council session, opposition members initially appeared willing to approve the expense. However, once it was clarified that the opposing party in the case was the Proteas Swimming Club, the opposition voted against the proposal.
Despite the objections raised, the proposal was ultimately approved by majority vote.
