Kalymnos Parade Held with Grandeur – Officials and Large Crowd in Attendance
The parade in Kalymnos was held with great ceremony and strong public participation, in the presence of the Secretary General for Equality and Human Rights, Katerina Patsogianni, and the Dean of the Hellenic Parliament and Dodecanese MP, Vasileios Ypsilantis.
A large crowd gathered along the streets of the island to watch the parade and take part in the celebrations.
Participants included students from local schools, cultural and athletic associations, scouts, as well as army units and reservists. Notably, students from the Merchant Marine Academy (AEN) also took part, receiving warm applause from spectators.
The atmosphere was festive and emotional, with participants marching proudly and the public responding with enthusiasm, highlighting a strong sense of national pride.
