The Mayor of Kalymnos, Mr. Giannis Mastrokoukos, led the municipal delegation that accompanied the Kalymnos Basketball Academy (CBA) to the city of Datça, Turkey, following an official invitation from the Municipality of Datça. The visit took place as part of the “Friendship Tournament 2025”, held from September 26 to 28, 2025.
From Greece, the Kalymnos Basketball Academy (CBA) and A.E. Dikaiou from Kos participated, continuing the collaboration that began in May during the equivalent tournament hosted in Kalymnos. The event aimed to strengthen intercultural ties through sports.
The tournament was not only an athletic gathering but also a symbol of friendship and cooperation. Young athletes competed with integrity and passion, while also sharing values and cultural experiences beyond borders.
