On October 19th, 2025, at the Elena Village Hotel in Armeos, the Closing Ceremony of the Kalymnos Climbing Festival 2025 took place.
After a 6-year hiatus, the institution was revived, and within a short period, a festival was organized with professionalism and enthusiasm. The visiting climbers were left with the best impressions.
During the closing ceremony, a section of the Lyceum Club of Greek Women of Kalymnos performed traditional dances. The highlight of the evening was when the climbers who had participated in the dance classes joined in the dancing.
This was followed by the awards ceremony for the climbing competition, expressions of thanks to all those who contributed to the festival, a speech by the President of the Hellenic Federation of Mountaineering and Climbing, Ms. Popi Dilaveraki, and the event concluded with live music by the band Take the Money and Run.
The next Kalymnos Climbing Festival has been scheduled for October 2nd, 3rd, and 4th, 2026.
