A large number of faithful gathered along the waterfront of Kalymnos on Good Friday evening to take part in the traditional Epitaph procession, in an atmosphere of deep reverence.
Believers from all parishes of the island came together to mourn the death of Christ, creating a powerful sense of unity and devotion.
The beautifully decorated Epitaphs, combined with the hymns and the voices of the Myrrh-bearing women during the procession, formed a uniquely solemn and moving atmosphere that touched both locals and visitors.
The event was broadcast live, allowing those unable to attend to follow the ceremony remotely.
