As the Governor of the Regional Unit of Kalymnos, I extend my warmest congratulations to the Kalymnian athletes Maria Maggoulia, an athlete of Enosi Kazonis – Kalymnos 2000, who won 2nd place and the silver medal in shot put at the Panhellenic Men’s and Women’s Championship held in Volos, and to Kalliopi Meimari, who also won 2nd place and the silver medal in javelin in the U23 category at the same event.
These outstanding achievements are a great honor for our island and demonstrate that dedication, perseverance, and hard work lead to the top. Kalymnos is proud of its youth who excel and inspire the new generation.
