The Municipality of Kalymnos has expressed its pride and strong support for the remarkable effort and achievement of the students from the 1st EPAL of Kalymnos, who are participating in the JA Greece “Virtual Enterprise” program with their student company, MYCELORAN.
Following their outstanding παρουσία at the National Student Virtual Enterprises Exhibition held on March 20, 2026, at “The Mall Athens,” the students continue their journey δυναμically by taking part in the nationwide voting process for the best promotional videos.
MYCELORAN is an innovative initiative that combines circular economy principles, environmental protection, and social entrepreneurship, transforming recyclable materials such as coffee grounds into mushrooms and natural fertilizer.
The Municipality calls on all residents of Kalymnos, as well as Kalymnians living in Greece and abroad, to actively support the students by participating in the voting process.
Voting is simple and can be completed via mobile phone, tablet, or computer through the official JA Greece platform until Friday, April 24, 2026 on the link https://jagreece.org/promovoting/vote-2026/.
Municipal authorities emphasize that the students’ effort is a strong example of creativity, innovation, and hope for the island’s future, highlighting the importance of supporting the younger generation and encouraging initiatives that promote knowledge, entrepreneurship, and outward-looking development.
