In a continued effort to modernize and streamline services for citizens, the Hellenic Coast Guard has announced the expansion of the e-DLA electronic platform (https://edla.hcg.gr), which handles requests related to the responsibilities of the Port Police.
The most recent addition includes the application for “Transfer of operating rights for a boat used as a water shuttle” (for both individuals and legal entities), under the existing category “Operation of vessel as water shuttle.”
The platform now supports electronic submission of applications in numerous categories, such as:
- Voyage permits
- Speedboat operator licenses
- Operation of sea taxis
- Vessel rental services
- Certificates of ownership and work permits on ships
- Licensing for lifeguards, divers, and diving crews
- Establishment of training schools
…and many more services.
Through the e-DLA system, users can:
- Submit their application along with the required documents
- Track the progress of their request in real time
- Receive automated notifications regarding their application status, document requirements, fee payments, etc.
- Obtain the final result (e.g., license, certificate) in digitally signed electronic format.
Access to the platform is available either openly for browsing or via TaxisNET authentication for full functionality and application submission. Detailed usage instructions are available at: https://edla.hcg.gr/help/
The Port Authority encourages all interested parties to take advantage of this modern digital tool for faster and safer processing of their requests.
