On Friday, October 17, 2025, at 18:30, the Medical Association of the Kalymnos Region co-organized a special Infertility Conference at the Kalymnos Cultural Center.
Distinguished physicians were invited to speak, presenting valuable proposals to address the modern challenge of declining birth rates and infertility.
The country’s demographic issue remains a serious concern for the scientific and medical community, which is making every possible effort to highlight the problem and propose tangible solutions.
However, the scientific world now calls on the state to take action — to design and implement national policies aimed at population growth, particularly in remote and border regions like Kalymnos.
