Due to increased obligations of the Mayor and members of the Municipal Authority, stemming from the proceedings of the Annual Plenary Session of the Safety Commission of the International Federation of Sport Climbing, currently taking place in Kalymnos, today’s scheduled Municipal Council meeting has been postponed.
The meeting has been rescheduled for Friday, May 8, 2026, at 19:00, in order to deliberate and make decisions on the following agenda items:
- Approval of the 2nd revision of the Municipal Budget and Technical Program of the Municipality of Kalymnos for the fiscal year 2026.
- Decision-making on projects addressing landslide risk on the island of Kalymnos.
- Review of tourism promotion actions of the Municipality of Kalymnos for 2025 and planning of tourism promotion activities for 2026.
- Examination of a request for the extension of the free concession of use of a municipal property located on “Enoria Christou” Street to the National Organization for the Prevention and Treatment of Addictions (E.O.P.A.E.).
- Direct purchase of a plot of land to be used as an open parking area in the Rina Vathy area, due to the uniqueness of its location.
- Approval of the report by the Procurement and Services Acceptance Committee regarding the opinion on extending the delivery date of lubricants under the supply contract “LUBRICANTS,” as part of the broader supply contract “FUEL AND LUBRICANTS FOR THE MUNICIPALITY OF KALYMNOS.”
- Approval of the report by the Procurement and Services Acceptance Committee regarding the opinion on modifying and extending the delivery timeline of the contract: “Electromobility Infrastructure – Electric Vehicles – Charging Stations of the Municipality of Kalymnos.”
- Renewal of the concession of vehicles from the South Aegean Regional Union of Municipalities (P.E.D.) under a loan agreement to Local Government Organizations (O.T.A.) of the Dodecanese Prefecture.
