New Leadership Elected for the Kalymnos Medical Association Following Key Elections
The election process for the Provincial Medical Association of Kalymnos “Skevos Zervos” has been successfully completed, following voting held on June 14, 2026, as part of the nationwide elections of Greece’s Medical Associations.
Three electoral groups participated in the process: “Cooperation for Health”, “Doctors of Social Mission”, and “Democratic Scientific Movement – DIPAK and Associates.”
Elected to the new Board of Directors were Mikes-Michail Koukouvas, Ioannis Paisios and Nikolaos Kalovidouris from “Cooperation for Health,” along with Gerasimos Apostolatos and Michail Mavros from “Doctors of Social Mission.” Georgios Tsoukalas and Ioannis Antonakos were elected from the “Democratic Scientific Movement – DIPAK and Associates” slate.
For representation at the Hellenic Medical Association (P.I.S.), Michalis Olympitis and Gerasimos Apostolatos secured election as delegates.
Members elected to the Audit Committee include Eleftherios Kourounis, Konstantinos Roufas and Andromachi Apostolatou, while the Disciplinary Council will consist of Dimitrios Saoulidis, Vasileios Vouis, Nikoletta Kandylioti, Nikolaos Lolias, Michail Lysikatos, Skevos Patellis and Maria Skampardoni.
The newly elected administration now assumes responsibility for representing the medical community of Kalymnos and addressing key healthcare challenges affecting both medical professionals and residents across the islands.
