On Friday, May 24, the first meeting was held at the Regional Unit office for the organization of this year’s sailing tournament, “RODOS CUP 2025”, which will take place from July 6 to 11, co-organized by the South Aegean Region and the Rhodes Sailing Club A.S.I.A.TH.
The sailing boats will arrive at the port of Kalymnos on Monday, July 7. During the meeting, issues related to the organization and the preparations required from the Municipality were discussed.
The meeting was attended by the Deputy Governor of Kalymnos Regional Unit, Emmanouil Mousellis, the Harbor Master, Captain Theofilos Tsagaris, the Deputy Mayor for Tourism, Expatriates & Public Relations, Kalliopi Koutouzi–Vogelzang, representing the Municipality and the Port Fund, and the representatives of the Rhodes Sailing Club A.S.I.A.TH., Takis Stavros (President), Nikos Koumnakas (Vice President), and Ilias Karampis (Treasurer).
The Municipality of Kalymnos will contribute to ensuring that crews’ and visitors’ reception reflects the renowned Kalymnian hospitality.
