“Kalymnos – 30 Years Later”
The Municipality of Kalymnos invited the public to a special cultural event marking the presentation of the book “KALYMNOS – 30 YEARS LATER” by Serbian teacher Goran Jozimović, subtitled “A Story About Humanity…”.
The presentation took place on Sunday, July 5, 2026, at 7:30 p.m., at the Kalymnos Spiritual Center.

The event was dedicated to a book that highlights the timeless values of humanity, solidarity, and remembrance, while celebrating the enduring bond between the author and the island of Kalymnos.
The evening brought together members of the local community, educators, and cultural figures, offering an opportunity to reflect on the messages of compassion and human solidarity conveyed through the book, which highlights the hospitality that Kalymnian families offered to children fleeing from the Serbian Civil War in the 90’s.
