Kalymnos will honour the memory and legacy of distinguished local physician and politician Skevos Zervos, marking 60 years since his passing with a solemn memorial service.
The service will take place on Sunday, August 9, 2026, at 9:00 a.m. at the Church of Agios Nikolaos.
It will be followed by a memorial prayer at the grave of Skevos Zervos, led by His Eminence Paisios, Metropolitan of Leros, Kalymnos and Astypalaia.
Residents and visitors are invited to attend and pay tribute to the prominent Kalymnian physician and political figure. The invitation has been issued by Emmanouil G. Mousellis, Eparch of the Kalymnos Regional Unit.
The commemoration will serve as a tribute to one of Kalymnos’ notable historical figures, six decades after his passing.
