A major enhancement to healthcare services in Kalymnos has been announced, as neurosurgeon Christos Gogos, Director of Neurosurgery at Asklepieio Voulas Hospital in Athens, will provide specialized outpatient clinics at the General Hospital – Health Center of Kalymnos “To Vouváleio”.
The initiative is expected to significantly improve access to neurosurgical care for island residents, reducing the need for patients to travel outside Kalymnos for specialized medical consultations.
The outpatient clinics will operate from July 3 to August 3, 2026, Monday through Friday, between 10:00 a.m. and 12:00 p.m., at Kalymnos General Hospital.
