Manolis Mousellis announced yesterday at the District Hall the program for the 2025 Cultural Summer, a festival celebrating sponge diving. This year, it is dedicated to Pantelis Ginis, the creator of the song “Dirlanda.” This piece of our local folk tradition is the most well-known work song of the sponge divers.
