Kalymnos, 25 September 2026 – Mayor of Kalymnos Ioannis Mastrokoukos presented three new facilities for basketball, volleyball and throwing events built for students at Nikiforeio Gymnasium.
HBH Group, owned by Ioannis Kolletis, was awarded the construction contract following a tender. The new facilities give students more space for sport and physical education.
During the presentation, the mayor also spoke about maintenance work carried out at school buildings across the island in preparation for the new academic year.
