A tragic incident occurred on Monday afternoon, April 6, 2026, in the Geraki area of Masouri, Kalymnos.
S. J. S., 61 years old, was walking in the area with her husband, both Kalymnos residents, when, at approximately 16:30, she suddenly felt dizzy and collapsed. The Fire Service and the National Emergency Aid Center (EKAB) were immediately alerted and rushed to the scene to provide first aid and transport her.
She was transferred to the Emergency Department of Kalymnos Hospital, where she was received by the appropriate medical and nursing staff.
Despite the efforts of the doctors, she sadly passed away at 19:30 due to a myocardial infarction.
