Checkmate in Kalymnos
Kalymnos is preparing for two action-packed days of chess on Saturday, August 8, and Sunday, August 9, with a Chess Festival at the 3rd Primary School of Kalymnos Town.
The programme features two open competitions. The 2nd Open Blitz Tournament will begin at 5:00 p.m. on Saturday, August 8, followed by the 2nd Open Rapid Tournament at 10:00 a.m. on Sunday, August 9.
Both tournaments are internationally FIDE-rated, giving participants the opportunity to test their skills in fast-paced and exciting games. Medals will be awarded to the winners.
The entry fee is €15 per participant or €25 for two members of the same family. Participation is free for the third and any additional family members.

Two days of strategy, concentration and competitive chess await players of all ages in Kalymnos under the auspices of the Kalymnos Regional Unit.
