The Municipal Port Fund of Kalymnos, following Decision No. 69/2025 of its Board of Directors, announces the launch of a Port Zoning Regulation process.
The new regulation will define clear berthing allocation criteria, operational rules, and a detailed positioning diagram, aiming to improve functionality, safety, and the port’s attractiveness for tourists, vessels, and marine professionals.
Stakeholders, unions, and citizens will be invited to submit their proposals to shape a framework that reflects local community and maritime needs. Final approval will be sought from the Port Fund and the Municipal Council.
