Meeting of Deputy Mayor Kalliopi Koutouzi with Members of the Board of Directors of the Rhodes Offshore Sailing Club (ASIATHR) Deputy Mayor of Tourism, Expatriates, and Public Relations. Mrs. Kalliopi Koutouzi held a highly constructive meeting with the President of ASIATHR, Mr. Stamatis Stavras, and the Vice President, Mr. Nikos Koumnakis.
The main topic of discussion was the 28th Rodos Cup 2025, which will take place in our waters from July 6 to July 11. The first stop of the race will be Kalymnos, where the sailing boats will arrive on July 7 and stay overnight.
Following the successful hosting of the Aegean Regatta 2024 opening ceremony last summer, ASIATHR has requested the support of the Municipality and the Deputy Mayor to ensure the smooth passage of the sailors through the island.
With marine tourism included in the Municipality’s strategic tourism development plan, the Deputy Mayor continues efforts to enhance outreach and collaboration in all directions.
