Kalymnos, Greece — On the evening of August 10, the Open-Air Theatre of Chora, set against the stunning backdrop of the Castle, hosted an extraordinary musical event as part of the 10th Austrian–Greek Music Summer 2025. This prestigious cultural tour, organized by the Austrian Embassy, is traveling across Greece, bringing unique musical experiences to diverse audiences.
Although there was initial uncertainty among both the performers and the audience — as this style of music is not often presented on the island — the universal language of music quickly bridged any gap. Song and melody won the hearts of the people of Kalymnos, creating an atmosphere of warmth, connection, and shared joy.
By the end of the evening, both the audience and the artists were elated by the experience. In a touching moment, the performers promised to return to Kalymnos next year for another unforgettable night of music.
