Municipality of Kalymnos: Access to Therma – Gefyra Area Deemed Dangerous Following Severe Weather
The Municipality of Kalymnos has announced that access to the Therma – Gefyra area has become particularly dangerous following the recent severe weather conditions that affected the island.
According to the official statement, heavy rainfall and related weather phenomena have caused significant damage in the area, increasing the risk of accidents for both pedestrians and vehicles.
For this reason, temporary access to the specific area has been prohibited until further notice. Special warning signs have been placed on site, prioritizing the protection of human life and the physical safety of citizens.
Municipal services are closely monitoring the situation, and a new official update will be issued as soon as conditions allow.
