In a warm Christmas spirit of solidarity, the Christmas Volunteer Blood Donation of the Association of Volunteer Blood Donors & Organ Donors “St. Panteleimon” took place on Sunday, December 7th, from 09:00 to 13:00, marking the occasion of the International Volunteer Day.
The initiative was co-organized with the Employees’ Union of the Vouváleio Hospital of Kalymnos, and included the option for participants to provide a bone marrow sample for registration as voluntary donors.
The event was supported by the Municipality of Kalymnos and the “Orama Elpidas” Foundation, reaffirming the longstanding commitment of the local community to strengthening the healthcare system and promoting the value of human life.
With the Christmas message reminding everyone of the importance of giving, citizens were invited to participate—offering a few minutes of their time and precious drops of life.
