Sokratis Famellos to Participate in Conference on Island Policy and National Development Strategy in Lesvos – Announcement from SYRIZA Press Office
SYRIZA-PS President Sokratis Famellos will participate tomorrow, Saturday, February 14, in the conference titled “Insularity & National Development Strategy – Human Development, Social Well-being and Governance in Insular Greece,” taking place in Lesvos.
Mr. Famellos will join a panel discussion entitled “Policy Positions and Proposals for Insularity – Looking to the Future with Responsibility,” alongside the President of Nea Aristera, Alexis Charitsis, and the President of KOSMOS, Petros Kokkalis.
The discussion will be moderated by Louka Katseli, Professor Emerita of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens and former minister, representing the Institute for Research and Policy Strategy.
The conference is co-organized by the ENA Institute for Alternative Policies, the Institute for Research and Policy Strategy (INERPOST), and the Nikos Poulantzas Institute, in cooperation with the Laboratory of Local and Insular Development of the University of the Aegean.
