A big round of applause for Giorgos Charamantas, who earned 4th place nationwide and 5th overall at the Throwing Festival in Tripoli, with a discus throw of 46.42 meters – all under scorching heat!
Despite having virtually no time for training – as he juggles his demanding role as Sales Planning & Monitoring Manager in Athens for a major European beer company, being a father to little Drosos, and husband to Greece’s multiple discus champion, Kristi Anagnostopoulou – the 34-year-old Giorgos continues to rank consistently among the top 12 throwers in Greece in recent years.
He truly deserves our admiration and congratulations!
