The Municipal Council of Kalymnos convened for a regular public mixed meeting to deliberate and vote on the following agenda items. All items listed below were approved:
- Approval of the 7th amendment of the Municipality of Kalymnos’ budget for the fiscal year 2025. ✅
- Approval of the 5th budget amendment for 2025 of the Municipal Port Fund of Kalymnos. ✅
- Approval of emergency management plans for the Municipality of Kalymnos. ✅
- Appointment of a municipal representative for the administrative acceptance of the project:
“Stabilization, Restoration, and Functional Upgrade of the Windmills of Chrysocheria, Kalymnos, and Landscaping of the Surrounding Area.” ✅
- Increase in working hours for fixed-term private-law school cleaning staff. ✅
- Approval of the selection committee’s report for stall allocation at the Kalymnos Municipal Market. ✅
- Granting of space in the Municipal Market for the sale of traditional handmade products by a local artisan. ✅
- Offset of rent payments for the 3rd Primary School canteen against repair and maintenance works. ✅
- Approval of the Monitoring Committee’s report on postponement of deliverable P1 of the programmatic agreement between the Municipality of Kalymnos and the “Sustainable Islands Network” regarding:
“Development of a Strategy for Integrated Spatial and Sustainable Development of Pserimos Island.” ✅
- Approval of the delivery committee’s report on modification of delivery time for:
Two (2) AC Electric Charging Stations (min. 22Kw) and Four (4) DC Charging Stations (min. 50Kw) under contract no. 61557/20-04-2025. ✅
- Approval of the delivery committee’s report on delivery postponement for:
One (1) electric sweeper under contract no. 5000/02-04-2025. ✅
- Declaration of Professor Ian Hedge Larsen as Honorary Citizen of the Municipality of Kalymnos. ✅
- Formation of a committee for the naming of municipal buildings. ✅
- Approval of report no. 15544/19-08-2025 by the destruction committee for valueless items (Article 199, paragraph 6, Law 3463/06). ✅
- Approval of report no. 18137/26-09-2025 by the Tripartite Committee regarding the request of Ms. Stamos Chrysovalantou – Irini. ✅
- Formation of a reception committee for the project:
“Roof Insulation of the 5th Primary School of Pothia, Kalymnos.” ✅
- Formation of a reception committee for the project:
“Reconstruction of Lawn and Track at the Kalymnos Municipal Stadium.” ✅
- Formation of a reception committee for the project:
“Replacement of Frames at the Kalymnos EPAL (Vocational School).” ✅
- Formation of a reception committee for the project:
“Replacement of Frames at the Vathy Kindergarten.” ✅
