He also requested clarification regarding the inspection conducted by Ms Kakakiou on behalf of the Regional Public Health Directorate and the findings concerning water quality within the hospital’s internal supply network.
According to a press release, the hospital administrator referred Diakomichalis to the president of the Kalymnos Municipal Water and Sewerage Company (DEYAK), who had received written notification from the Regional Health Directorate regarding the laboratory results.
The meeting also addressed the timetable for fully restoring the operation of the hospital’s surgical facilities and Artificial Kidney Unit.
Diakomichalis stated that he remains available to assist the hospital administration in any way required, with the aim of restoring normal operations at Kalymnos General Hospital as soon as possible.
