The Deputy Governor of Kalymnos, Emmanouil G. Mousellis, aiming to strengthen the spirit of entrepreneurship in our region, organized the diploma award ceremony for the winning teams of the national finals of Young Business Talents 2025, as well as for students who participated in the JAGRECCE “Circular Economy” program. The event was held at the Kalymnos Cultural Center on May 7, 2025.
The program coordinator, Mr. Yiannis Polykandriotis, an educator, economist, and accountant, highlighted during the event the remarkable entrepreneurial aptitude of the island’s students.
About the Program – Young Business Talents
Young Business Talents is the only free program that allows students to gain hands-on experience through practical training. Using a Business Simulator, students engage in real-time business decision-making, covering all major operational areas of a company. It is the only initiative that enables the use of a business simulator to enhance learning through real-life experiences, offering a skills development program.
Through this simulator, students perform actual business management tasks influenced by real economic factors, making it a tool of educational innovation.

Student Achievements
The students who received their diplomas had submitted 11 business plans between November 21, 2024, and February 23, 2025.
Additionally, they received certificates from the program “Girls Go Circular – Digital and Entrepreneurial Skills for the Circular Economy”, organized and implemented by JAGRECCE.
To earn these certificates, students completed tests verifying their knowledge and skills — these were the documents distributed during the ceremony.
