The Greek Ministry of Maritime Affairs has announced a fourth postponement of the international public-service ferry tender covering the route Alexandroupoli – Sigri (Lesvos) – Mesta (Chios) – Piraeus. According to a decision signed by Maritime Affairs Minister Vassilis Kikilias, the bidding process will now take place on July 20, 2026. The tender concerns a public service contract running through October 2028, while all other terms and conditions of the original call remain unchanged.
