Gold Award at Best City Awards 2026 for the Municipality of Kalymnos
The Municipality of Kalymnos received the Gold Award at the Best City Awards 2026 in the category “Municipal Website for e-Services / Level of e-Governance” for its project “Integrated Digital Transition Infrastructure – AI Portal and Multichannel Citizen Services Platform.”
The award ceremony took place on January 11, 2026, at the Serafio Hall of the Municipality of Athens, as part of the annual institution organized by Boussias Events under the auspices of the Central Union of Municipalities of Greece (KEDE). The distinction recognizes the Municipality’s comprehensive digital transformation strategy, including the development of a unified digital service portal, the integration of artificial intelligence tools, and the expansion of multichannel communication and participatory services.
The project was implemented by Crowdpolicy, with significant contribution from the Deputy Councillor for Digital Governance, Michalis Platsis, and the coordinated efforts of the Municipal Authority and staff. Mayor Giannis Mastrokoukos described the award as confirmation of the Municipality’s commitment to building a modern, smart, and citizen-friendly local government.
