A proud moment for Kalymnos athletics was celebrated today in Leros during the K18 Interclub Championship, as Eleni Solanaki delivered an outstanding performance in the very first 1500m race of her career and immediately reached the top of the podium.
The young athlete, coached by Nikolas Korfias, won 1st place and the gold medal, becoming the Dodecanese Champion in the 1500m event.
Her time of 6:20.1 also marked her first personal record in the discipline, raising high expectations and inspiring dreams for a promising future in athletics.
Eleni’s performance was truly impressive, demonstrating determination, composure, and remarkable talent — qualities that reflect the hard work and dedication of both the athlete and her coach.
